Free travel

With your admission ticket you can use all buses, trams and trains (DB: RE, RB and S-Bahn, each 2nd class) in the VRR Rhine-Rhur fare zone free of charge. Valid from 30.04. to 01.05.2020, 12 noon. Further information at www.vrr.de and www.bus-und-bahn.de.

Arrival by train

Starting from “Dortmund central station”:
RB53, RB59, RB52, leave at “Signal Iduna Park“
U45, leave at “Westfalenhallen“

Departure by train

Special trains starting from “Westfalenhalle U“ to “Dortmund central station” (approx. 00.40am - 08.00am) every 20 minutes. Afterwards, take the U45 or U46 towards “Brunnenstr.” every 15 minutes.

Travel by car

Plenty of parking lots are available around the Westfalenhallen.

Depending on the chosen parking area, you have to pay a fee of EUR 12,- (Parking areas A2 – A8) or EUR 10,- (Parking areas B-F) to the provider of the parking lots. An overview of the parking areas can be found here.

We recommend travelling by public transport. With your admission ticket you can use all buses, trams and trains (DB: RE, RB and S-Bahn, each 2nd class) in the VRR Rhine-Ruhr fare zone free of charge.

Please do not take drugs or drink alcohol if you have to drive. No drugs at MAYDAY.
Police checks can be expected.
