Free outward & return journey on all VRR public transport: book your free VRR ticket at kombiticket.mayday.de.
With the VRR ticket, all buses, streetcars & trains (DB: RE, RB and S-Bahn, 2nd class in each case) in the VRR area can be used free of charge. Valid from 30.04. to 01.05.2026, 12 PM. Information at vrr.de and bus-und-bahn.de. An overview of the VRR area can be foundhere.
Arrival and Departure by train
Arrival
Starting from “Dortmund central station”: RB53, RB59, RB52 → leave at “Signal Iduna Park“ U45 or leave at “Westfalenhallen“
Departure
Special trains from "Westfalenhalle U" to "Dortmund Hauptbahnhof" (approx. 00:40 AM- 8 AM) every 20 min. Then U45 direction "Hauptbahnhof" or U46 direction "Brunnenstr." every 15 min.

Travel by car
Car parking is available at the Westfalenhallen. You can find an overview of the car parks here. We recommend travelling by public transport. With your admission ticket you can use all buses, trams and trains (DB: RE, RB and S-Bahn, 2nd class each) in the VRR area free of charge.
Important Information for Arrival and Departure
Expect numerous vehicle checks during arrival and departure! While we want you to have an amazing time at MAYDAY, there’s one thing we care deeply about: No drinking or drug use when driving!
