With your admission ticket you can use all buses, trams and trains (DB: RE, RB and S-Bahn, each 2nd class) in the VRR Rhine-Ruhr fare zone free of charge. Valid from 30.04. to 01.05.2024, 12 noon. Starting from “Dortmund central station”:RB53, RB59, RB52, leave at “Signal Iduna Park“U45, leave at “Westfalenhallen“
Departure by train
Special trains from "Westfalenhalle U" to "Dortmund Hauptbahnhof" (approx. 00:40 - 08:00) every 20 min. Then U45 direction "Hauptbahnhof" or U46 direction "Brunnenstr." every 15 min.All information regarding travel by train will be found here: www.bahn.de, www.vrr.de and www.bus-und-bahn.de
Travel by car
Plenty of parking lots are available around the Westfalenhallen.Depending on the chosen parking area, you have to pay a fee of EUR 9,- (Parking areas A2 – A7) or EUR 8,- (Parking areas C-F) to the provider of the parking lots. An overview of the parking areas can be found here.We recommend travelling by public transport. With your admission ticket you can use all buses, trams and trains (DB: RE, RB and S-Bahn, each 2nd class) in the VRR Rhine-Ruhr fare zone free of charge.Please do not take drugs or drink alcohol if you have to drive. No drugs at MAYDAY.Police checks can be expected.
