The “Arena” - the listed domed building of the Westfalenhallen Dortmund - enjoys a reputation throughout the world as the best event location in Germany.

Nowhere else is the atmosphere as good, nowhere else does music sound better. They have all been here, the greats of the rock and pop business. There have been legendary concerts, grandiose shows, exciting sporting events. There was rocking, kicking, boxing and singing.

And celebrated: Because MAYDAY has also been at home here since 1993 and has thrilled over half a million ravers since then. No event in the Westfalenhallen requires more space than MAYDAY. No other event requires more technical equipment and uses so much sound, light, laser and video technology.
