What is the minimum age for MAYDAY?
In general, no entrance for visitors under 16.
In order to be present after midnight, it is neither necessary for 16/17 year olds to have an 18+ escort nor to carry a u18 form ("Muttizettel").
Will there be a box office?
Yes, the box office will be open from approx. 05.30pm.
Ticket price: EUR 80,-
There will be enough tickets available.
Which means of transport am I allowed to use before and after MAYDAY?
With your admission ticket you can use all buses, trams and trains (DB: RE, RB and S-Bahn, each 2nd class) in the VRR Rhine-Ruhr fare zone free of charge. Valid from 30.04. to 01.05.2023, 12 noon. Further information at www.vrr.de and www.bus-und-bahn.de. An overview of the VRR area is available here.
How do I pay at the festival?

Are there ATMs?
Yes, in the corridor around the Arena.
At the box office and merchandise shop, card payment is also possible.
Will there be a wardrobe or lockers available?
Yes, there are sufficient checkrooms in the Westfalenhallen.
In the Plaza (passage hall between Arena and Factory) there are lockers for rent.
These can be booked soon.
How does the food & beverage system work?
There will be numerous stands for food and drinks at the venue.
It is not allowed to bring your own food or drinks with you.
Is there a merchandise shop?
Yes, in the Plaza (passage hall between Arena and Factory).
I have lost something on site, who can I contact?
Lost property will be collected during the event in the production office (in the corridor around the arena at letter H). After the event, lost property will remain in the Westfalenhalle. Please contact regarding your lost items:

Can I bring my own camera?
Yes, it is allowed to bring your camera to the event. Taking pictures or videos for personal/private use is permitted. It is forbidden to use sound, picture or video recordings or shoots for commercial use, unless the event organizer explicitly allowed it in advance by writing.
The visitors may eventually be photographed or be on camera during the event. Pictures and recordings may be published.
Can I visit MAYDAY with a wheelchair?
Yes, the entrance and toilets on site are handicapped accessible.
All floors are accessible. Please consider that the gallery of the Westfalenhalle (Arena) is only accessible by stairs.

Forged tickets
Warning: Forged tickets unfortunately keep appearing which are difficult to tell apart from genuine tickets. We therefore strongly advise you not to buy tickets from online houses or private sellers. All tickets will be closely checked at the venue. Anyone with a forged ticket will not be allowed entry. Please buy your tickets only at mayday.de, the official advance sales or the box office.
